Every June to September, an extraordinary weather phenomenon transforms Salalah into the only place in Arabia that turns green and misty during summer — the Khareef monsoon season.
While the rest of the Gulf bakes in 45 °C heat, Salalah enjoys cool mists, cascading waterfalls, and lush valleys overflowing with life. Temperatures hover between 20–28 °C — the perfect summer escape.
This is why Salalah draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every summer. There is simply nowhere else like it in the Arab world.
